Women Build 2023

Women Build is an event that empowers women to help with housing construction efforts, an area where generally only 15% of volunteers are female. This is a great opportunity to spend a day on the build site while helping to build a new home for a Habitat homeowner to purchase.

Women Build will take place every Wednesday in May with volunteer shifts from 9am to 12pm and1pm to 4pm.

Women Build Wednesday provides the opportunity for volunteers to take a proactive step in serving their communities. Volunteers work under the guidance of construction professionals, and also alongside other volunteers and future Habitat homeowners. Whetherlearning new skills or simply applying skills, this is a rewarding experience for all involved, and improves the community that you share.

SPONSOR WOMEN BUILD

Food Sponsor - Donate items such as fresh fruit, chips, pop, water, granola bars and snacks. Another option is to provide the lunch for volunteers. All in kind food donations will be eligible for 80% of their value to count toward a sponsorship package.

Event Sponsor - Join us in creating safe, affordable housing in Midland County and empowering women in volunteering. Sponsor levels range from $250 - $5,000 and have varying benefits that include community exposure and the opportunity to support affordable housing.
